Poetry Is Perfect
For Spring
Audiobook Released!
So many of us know how hard it is to want to read but also have to juggle "all the things" and finding the time becomes impossible. Before we know it, months and sometimes years go by without having
treated yourself to a good book.
That's how I've come to appreciate a good audiobook from Audible.
Working out, driving, rocking a baby or two, watching your kids sports, making dinner and so many other things all while listening to a good book.

AND THIS ISÂ ME
I was always told as a kid and sometimes even now that I can be a little too chatty. I call it my instinctive need to share. I love to see people wide eyed and smiling as I tell them a tale about the people I've met, the places I've been and the adventures I've lived. I feel connected. And when I write poetry or a new story it's the ultimate way of reaching and connecting with the very people who read them.
I was once asked if I write because I want to or because I have to. The answer was simple, I write every single day because to not write would be an emotional impossibility.

I am the daughter of Cuban refugees (that alone gives me tons of entertaining material) and am originally from New Jersey. I live with my family and two pups, Lady Bijou and Miss Molly Mae in the suburbs of Philadelphia.
When I'm not writing I'm reading or hiking but most always find myself at the beach even in the cold of winter.

My highly anticipated debut novel, Escaping Havana is out now!! Be prepared for it to grip you from the moment you open the book and make you feel as though your feet were walking those same Havana streets.
